Study Techniques:
- Weeks 1 – 8: I plan on reviewing in detail the PANCE Content Categories and their corresponding topics based on the PANCE blueprint: https://prodcmsstoragesa.blob.core.windows.net/uploads/files/PANCEBlueprint.pdf
- With minimum 30 timed questions daily (Rosh Review, Exam Master, Quizlet, etc.)
- Taking note of questions answered incorrectly (why, thought process behind it, flag for additional review)
- Week 8 Professional Practice topics
- Legal/medical ethics
- Medical informatics
- Patient care & communication
- Physician/PA relationship
- Professional development
- Public health
- Risk management
- Week 8: End of Curriculum Exam
- Will take exam as if it is the mock boards, paying attention to its blueprint: https://paeaonline.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/eoc-blueprint-20180524.pdf
- May make further changes to PANCE prep plan according to results
- Week 9 & forward
- Less focus on detailed review
- Heavy focus on maintaining stamina
- 14 days before exam: 1st block of 60 questions in 60 mins, break 5 mins, 2nd block of 60 questions in 60 mins
- 10 days before exam: 3 blocks of 60 questions in 3 hours, limiting breaks to 5 mins between blocks
- 7 days before exam: 5 blocks of 60 questions in 5 hours, limiting breaks to 5 mins between blocks
- 3 days before exam: 3 blocks of 60 questions in 3 hours, limiting breaks to 5 mins between blocks
- Will make adjustments accordingly to areas of weakness depending on further evaluations from practice exams
